The Class of 2025

Today, 85 million children and young people in crisis-affected countries are out of school—some 44.2 million are girls. Without support, 1 in 5 girls in these settings may not be able to read a simple sentence by 2030. Through our partnership, girls are finding their voices, pursuing education and building brighter futures. Meet some of this year’s remarkable graduates.

Fatima, 18, from Syria

At 18, Fatima plans to pursue higher education in Syria, either in law or beauty and hair styling. “Having this chance to continue my education with CARE’s support helped me grow, learn new things and make real friends. I want to keep learning, and one day pass this knowledge on to my children.”
